Book early!!! Whitehorse's busy tourist season is very much concentrated in July and August. Airline, car rental, hotel, and campground reservations should all be made well in advance, if possible.

The WCOC events are being held within the Whitehorse city limits. We don't have any pre-organized accommodation for the WCOC's, but see below for suggested campgrounds.
The COC events are being held a short distance (about 50km) south of Whitehorse along the South Klondike Highway. The recommended camping site for the COC's is conveniently located near the COC events (see below).

Robert Service Campground
The best for tenting, this campground is located beside the Yukon River and is within walking distance of downtown.

Takhini Hot Springs
This has good tenting and is the least expensive, but it's a 25 minute drive north of town. Benefit: warm springs for nice soaking.

Hi-Country RV Park
This is more for RV's, but they do have tent spots too. At the corner of Alaska Highway and Robert Service Way. About a 30-minute walk to downtown.

Wolf Creek Campground
This territorial government campground is situated on the Alaska Highway about a 12 minute drive from downtown Whitehorse. It has outhouses and hand pumped cold water.

We've arranged for camping conveniently located near the COC events (see map below). This is a special arrangement for the COC events — this is not a normal campsite.
- Three nights: July 21-24 (Thursday through Sunday).
- Located at kilometer 1 on the Annie Lake Road in a quiet country setting.
- Within walking distance of the COC Sprint start and finish.
- Cost: $36 per tent for the three nights (camping can be reserved and paid for while registering).
- Washrooms on site. Showers available ($1 for 3 minutes).
- Covered cooking area with picnic tables.
- Banquet will be held here Saturday evening.
- Note that the closest place to buy groceries and other supplies is Whitehorse.
